A Time for Saying ThankQ
Yes, holiday season is about here, & the time to celebrate with family & friends, & reflect upon those things we are most grateful for. And although countless numbers of you are in so many places throughout the country, I want to take today to be thankful.
So, thank you first of all for sharing my journey with me, for reading what I write to you, for listening to my voice, as I pursue my thoughts & my thoughts pursue me, & we all engage in this sometimes awkward, & sometimes hopefully brilliant conversation with each other. Well me to you predominately, but I do appreciate the feedback I do receive. And perhaps we should all say thank you: to our mothers, & to our fathers, to our brothers & sisters, & to our teachers, & our students, & our employees, & our managers, & all those who have had an impact on the way we live, & the way we work, & the way we survive, & the way we sometimes, hopefully, thankfully, flourish. And perhaps we should all say thank you to God, to the Higher Power which placed us here on earth, to the energy which flows from the Higher Spheres, down here to earth, up here where we live, by the side of each & every one of us, Who comes to us, to say Grace, to say Breathe, to say Love, to say Strive, to say Invent, to say Heart, to say Soul, & all those other things which have been said to us from He Who is Highest, to we who are lowest, but always, always striving to go higher than we are. And perhaps as well we should all say thank you to the inner power we discover on those lucky days when it speaks to us, on those brilliant days when it speaks out to others, on those confounding days even, when its voice appears to confuse us, to bewilder us, to stop us, to seek us out, to define us, to confine us, to inhibit us, to align us. So, perhaps too should we seek out the voice to say thank you for being there, for coming awake within each & every one of us to invent our lives, to inspire our imagination, to be witty & wise & smart & beautiful & funny, too funny, too, too funny - beyond anything we had ever believed we could stand up & say, & do, & become. So, thank you all, & thank yourselves. God Bless you, be humble & well. |
